Bret and David discuss a pair of remakes of late 50’s/early 60’s William Castle horror films: House on Haunted Hill (1999) and Thir13en Ghosts (2001).
They also announce a special giveaway. David obtained an original “Ghost Viewer/Ghost Remover,” which was given to theater-goers in 1960, during the release of 13 Ghosts. It could be yours! I really enjoyed the HoHH remake. Not a good “film” but a really fun movie. Between the opening rollercoaster scene and the dynamic between Rush and Famke, the first 20-30 minutes were just delicious.
Agreed. It’s not a good movie by any means, but it’s got a lot of fun moments.
