I agree that Jason Lives is the best of the first 7, although 8 and Goes to Hell earn my favoritism for pure batshit bonkersness. As for Freddy’s Dead, I definitely haven’t seen that recently whereas I rewatch NOES 1-4 almost yearly. Maybe I’m due to revisit it. I do recall liking it less than NOES 1-5.

LOL! Nope, I need to do it. I’m gonna do 3 and 4 (my favorites), then 5 (still fun but a big quality drop), and then see how Freddy’s Dead holds up. Call it an exercise in self-abuse.
