Episode 44: DEMONStrations of PanDEMONium

Bret, David, and Alan brush up on their Italian and discuss (in perfect English) a pair of films produced by Dario Argento and directed by Lamberto Bava: Demons (1985), and its 1986 sequel, Demons 2.

The Swearwolves are typically on the same page when it comes to their thoughts on movies, but this is not such an episode. Get your popcorn ready!

I’m laughing at how defensive Alan is getting about Bret’s differing opinion.

It’s been far too long. Your discussion will coax a long-needed rewatch. I had forgotten all about the demon emerging from her back! I love scenes like that–like in Phantasm II. Chunky gross and awesome.

Yeah, that scene was pretty awesome!

Monsters emerging from people is just plain cool. Even the page-ripping-like dimensional rift over Sutter Cane in Mouth of Madness was great even if the special effect looks a tad dated. The sheer concept always gets me.
