Episode 16: A Very Swearwolves Christmas

Bret, David, and Alan get into the spirit of the holiday season by discussing Christmas-themed horror films, mainly focusing on Black Christmas (1974), Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984), Jack Frost (1997), and Krampus (2015).

So put on an ugly sweater, pour yourself some eggnog, throw a log on the fire, hang your stockings by the chimney with care, and be good – for goodness sake!

It’s time to spread yuletide fear!

I definitely agree that Krampus could use more horror or more comedy. But I remain very pleased with it for its humor and diversity of creature effects. The biggest strike against this film was that it followed up the outstanding Trick ‘r Treat. So upon first viewing I enjoyed it but was disappointed, and later came to appreciate it more.
